Wow, when I took the Barry Bonds off the list it reminded me to update the rest and I am happy to announce I have found 6 new cards to take the missing spots.
It’s kinda cool this time as the 6 cards are from only 3 different sets 1984 O-Pee-Chee Baseball, 1978-79 O-Pee-Chee Hockey and 2000-01 Topps/O-Pee-Chee Archives Hockey.
These are the 3 sets I’m closest to completing and hope to knock off by the end of the year.
1984 O-Pee-Chee Baseball #182 Darryl Strawberry RC
1984 O-Pee-Chee Baseball #230 Rickey Henderson
cards weren’t from the junk era then it would be daunting, however as it is they are both pretty obtainable. It would be nice to finish off another 80’s baseball set as I have 89, 88, 86, and 83 already done.
1978-79 O-Pee-Chee #30 Darryl Sittler
more likely being given) packs of as a child. I would have been 6-7 when this set came out and it would be nice to finish it off. Being that it is a Maple Leaf if carries and premium and any local store. The fact it’s Sittler makes it even that much special to the local collectors.
1978-79 O-Pee-Chee #24 Checklist
After the Lidstrom at #1 this will in all likely hood be the most expensive card in the top 10 to get. Unmarked in decent shape is preferred for this set although for older sets its getting harder and harder to find them. These 2 cards will finish the set.
2001-02 Topps / O-Pee-Chee Archives #8 Glenn Hall
2001-02 Topps / O-Pee-Chee Archives #69 Terry Sawchuk
Again, the last 2 cards to finish a set. What’s different this time is it’s the first cards on the Most Wanted list to come from a set NOT issued by O-Pee-Chee during their existence. By 1996 the brand was gone and just existed as a Parallel for Topps. They call these Topps/O-Pee-Chee archives but both of these reprints are of Topps sets but the O-Pee-Chee logo is on it so it makes my wantlist.
